BOLT-ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 264 Win Mag. S# 539010. Bbl. shortened to 21 3/4" without sights. Leopold Vari-XII 2-7X gloss finished scope w/ duplex reticle on Redfield two-piece mounts. Action features claw extractor. Bolt body is polished with heat colored bolt handle. Custom hand checkered bolt release. Serial number is not legible on the bolt bottom. Standard steel Pre-64 floorplate & trigger guard. Custom stock by the celebrated stock maker Leonard Mews. The nicely grained walnut stock features a shadow line cheekpiece, hard rubber grip cap w/ a diamond a diamond grip inlay and sling swivels. Forearm & stock have fancy fleur-de-lis French style skip line borderless hand checkering. LOP: 13 1/2" over a thin black Pachmayr rifle pad. Weight with scope: 8 lbs, 5.4 oz. CONDITION: metal retains very good dull reblued finish. Proof marks & lettering are slightly weakened. Stock has good finish showing a few small scratches & marks. Sound action.
